"I wanted people to see my art and be moved. In one of my shows, someone came up to me and said something really inspiring: ‘When I see your paintings, it always brightens my day.'
People start to talk to me in French
In Paris is better to walk everywhere, it’s easier. And soon I discovered that Paris had a gift for me, right there in the streets. Not in the museums, which, by the way, are fantastic, a bit too crowded to enjoy sometimes. But the real Paris art, in my view, is in the creative energy that comes from the streets. In the beginning, I started walking around the city and let the streets inspire me.
Everything inspires you to create, even croissants.
But the real Paris art, in my view, is in the creative energy that comes from the streets. In the beginning, I started walking around the city and let the streets inspire me. Every time I step into a cafe or a store, people start to talk to me in French, like I’m a Parisian woman.
